Microsoft recently put out an update for their Windows 10 operating system that may, unfortunately, cause your computer to crash. After the update installs you might find that your mouse and/or keyboard aren’t functioning properly, you may not be able to get on the internet using wifi, or you could even get an “inaccessible hard drive” message. Fun stuff, right?
This problem does not affect all computers, but it’s not possible to accurately predict which ones are most likely to be affected. If your computer is affected by the update that was installed, give us a call or bring it by the store! We can do an operating system repair ($125) to get your computer back up and running as quickly as possible.
How can you keep these issues from happening in the first place?
A) allow the updates to occur automatically, and hope you have no problems (fingers crossed!)
B) bring your computer to Computer Renaissance of Bel Air so that we can safely update it to the most current edition with all updates. For just $50, we will run a thorough diagnostic on your computer to confirm that everything is functioning properly, and then we make sure that all the updates are correctly installed and working properly.
We strongly recommend you pick option B to ensure your computer is up and running at its best.
If your computer has experienced these update related issues, or if you would like to have us install the updates for you, give us a call or stop by the store! We’re happy to help!
